no MLT stands for Metropolis Light Transport:

Hopefully Octane continues to be unafraid of biased methods, and keeps including features for early ray termination and other adaptive things!

Question about beta 1.023 .
Will the transparent shadows issue be fixed in this release? It would be awesome, i already have some other liquid ideas and if that would be fixed, it would be awesome.

Oh, awesomee... my next project is already planned, fluids are quite important in it again
. They will need to look perfect and 2.3 will make that happen.
