Hi Karba,
thanks for FPP support,
any plan to support a file structure similar to the Vray proxies?
Is it possible to read/convert Vray proxies in Octane?
I got several scenes created with Vray proxies or xrefs files.
This is useful when we design master plans.
In master plans we have several detailed buildings, trees, vegetations that Max viewport can't handle, no matter if it's visualized in bounding box or points.
Regards

It very likely we will introduce own geometry file format.
vray proxy is closed file format. I am not sure it is possible to use it.

Hi everyone!
i am a 3ds max user and planing to buy octane render licence. But i can't decide to buy standalone or plugin version. i often use multiscatter .Standalone version supports multiscatter too?
And there is another question: What is the solution of octane render for displacement or is there another way to export similar object?
Thank you!

Standalone doesn't support any 3dsmax plugins.
There in no displacement in octane currently.

Hi
This is an Amazing work, can you tell me please how many cards and what cards are you using for render all those great trees and grass fields?...
Also, in the pictures there are two times.., which is the total time at the end of the render.., the one on the left or the one on the right?..(sorry, i can not use octane until i buy a new card so i can not check my self

)
And lastly the car animation on the street with all those trees, which were the render times for each frame and how much time to load all the scene to the engine before it can start to render?....
Many thanks
Best Regards
