you really need a newer GPU tungee, a GTX470 or so, it will make a world of difference.

I used Indigo before;

so for me now the 9800GT and Octane is a dream!
how much factor is a Gtx 470 faster, radiance?

not sure but it's quite a bit, nearly 3x.

Yepp, its time for a new card!
I must say that im very happy with the speed of my card.
The only drawback of the 9800 is the small ram

you could keep the 9800 as your display adapter and add a 2nd headless card for octane,
provided you have 2 PCI-E slots on your MB.
If not, you might want to search for an affordable 2x PCI-E slot MB.

Tried to make the old photos effect using only octane.
I think it's done!))))
added some clouds on post & little glow
i used scene from Daz3d
