This is my render "skyscraper".
Modeling in blender 2.5. Rendering about 15 minutes.

Hello Octane fanatics

Few days ago I've been asked by one of the users if I could make a short video showing my robot being rendered, so I decided to make a video tutorial about some material/environment tweaking in my scene. Hope You find it helpful

Thanks lechu, this is very cool.
we'll add this as a link to our videos page so other users can see it.
BTW, if you plan to make more videos,
the next DEMO release that will be released soon,
will have directlighting/AO as the default for interactive work/preview,
and it will behave much smoother giving you a much higher FPS that's much more stable.
This mode is just as fast without subsampling enalbed than with pathtracing in the current version with say 2x2 subsampling.
Then you switch to path tracing to render you're final.

Pedro: Everything in that scene was made in Blender

For 2d work I used Photoshop.
