The script is working great so far.
Here's my test render with Bazuka's script, bridging Maya and Octane:
http://refractivesoftware.com/forum/vie ... f=6&t=1668
1. The problem I encountered now is the exchange of measurement.
My native measurement in Maya in centimeter, and usually if I change that
in Octane form Centimeter to meter, it works fine.
But Maya script at the moment is not exchanging the measurement for me.
When the measurement is not correct, I find the image would have black/ gray
radiating circles in the picture. I found the same sympton while using maya2octane mel.
Even though I change the measuremeant in Octane manually and saves the file,
it's not working still. i would assume in Octane I need to set the measurement switch first,
before importing the objects. Hopefully Bazuka would be nice enough to fix this.
2. When in Maya2Octane script, I want to use the button "exisiting projects," there's always a
message "Encountered an improper argument." Though, it doesn't affecting my using the existing
ocs file.
Cheers,

yeah ur right script at the moment doesnt do anything about the size (measurement)
im still brain storming, coz i notice too that when u scale the obj to fit the meter size i get also black render, thats why i disabled that option (for now)
about the second probl hm, dont know what to tell u but what u can tell me is what ver of maya u use

so i can check
cheers
