I'm happy to hear form you!
Thanks for your reply, I didn't make so many tries so far to assess this progress, just installed.
Glad to hear about no lags, though I noticed that till I render first time in LV all the matrials (octane materials) look white.
maybe it's correct int his way, I don't know.

Thanks for your geat work, as always!
Try a bit and show me your screen shots. I'm not sure without seeing something.
here I am.
This is what I see in viewport while LV is rendering and Octane already loaded all the materials.
I hope you can help me. I double checked all the parameters and are like yours.
Thanks again!

Did you try with another old scenes? Also what happens if you add some new materials and assign to some objects? And is "Octane for OPENGL" checked?

Hey Ahmet!
I tried with few of them and it's always same behavior.
Octane for OpneGL is checked.
I try with adding materials and run some other tries.
I'll let you know :)
Thanks!

Is there a reason why the GPU is not used 100%? Only in a few cases do I see it reach 100%.
I work on Win 10 with an Nvidia RTX 4090

C4D nodes works fine within Scatter except Vertex Map - maybe is there chance to make it works too ? It would be further expand Scatter possibilities.

Hi Stefano,
which Nvidia driver version have you installed?

Please download and run OctaneBench 2020.1, and share a complete screenshot of the result, thanks:

Hi Ahmet,

What happened to the pre-multiplied alpha checkbox in the camera imager? I never use premultiply inside Octane, and interpret alpha straight in AE. Now every alpha edge (even older scenes without premultiply checked) has the black border with no way to turn it off?

EDIT: It's moved to the render settings dialog.

Yes re-factored to be part of saving procedures. Not in Imagers anymore. XB/RC users know that because it's not new for latest build.

Shape Field no Shape Option Available

For the new field textures (plane, angle, sphere, shape) the Cinema Shape field texture doesnt have a geo input. Is this something that hasn't been added or is there another way around it. Stand alone has the shape entry - without it, you cant really use the field?
