The scene is pretty light 5208 objects plus some forest instances. Please see the image attached. So i don't understand why processing is slow. We do have some cars in the city that move. it is 25 seconds per frame to process. Thanks[/quote]

This should load in less than 15 seconds in V4 core based on the scene size you show me here. So it may be an issue with the plug-in pre-processing the scene.

Hi Goldorak, if you take a look on previous pages of this thread - a lot of people is complaining on performance of max plugin. Otoy needs to bring a lot of massive improvements to match standalone speed for evaluation, texture compression, materials adjustments. Almost every aspect of max plugin works 2-3 times slower than Standalone. Maybe team should rewrite core of the plugin or something similar to this to finally match performance of Octane SA?

Thank you

Several improvements have been made to reduce the scene evaluation, but it may not be noticeable if some trouble shooting settings has been activated, that can cause unnecessary processing.
Please use the new version 6.11, that has the option to Reset those settings to default (Global setting window, menu 'Preset', 'Reset Default settings'.)

That should bring evaluation time close to the Stand Alone version.
