Erm, whoops, I think I may have somewhat offtopic-ed this particular competition, as I didn't see the "architectural" requirement until I'd finished the image.

There's a structure as a key part of the image, but it's not a land-based structure as such...

Feel free to disqualify if it's too off-topic - I had fun making it anyway!

Hi Everyone,

I've got two submissions for this contest -- I was torn between two different scenes, one was in process before this contest came to be, however once aware of the contest I used one of Peter's maps for the lighting. The second submission (in a separate post after this one) was created solely for this contest.

So, here's the first one. The first shot of this scene, as a horizontal frame, uses Peter's HDRI 1120. This is a Nature Museum and Observatory. The majority of this building is a museum and learning center, which is why there's only windows on the ends, in case anyone is wondering. The PT kernel was used in Octane. Phantom Scatter was used for the vegetation.

This second shot in vertical orientation, uses Peter's HDRI 1931. I also did a black and white version. I'm a big fan of black and whites and I liked this shot in black and white and thought I'd share. Also PT kernel.

And here's my second submission, created just for this contest as mentioned in the previous post above. I did a sketch of this a couple weeks ago and have been unable to get it out of my head, so this contest was the perfect opportunity to do so!

This scene also used Peter's HDRI 1120. And again, PT kernel was used in Octane, and Phantom Scatter for the vegetation.

Hi there!

Beautifull images are here!

Here is my submission:
Fountain_of_Freedom_kcpr-raffaEl_1.jpg
Fountain_of_Freedom_kcpr-raffaEl_2.jpg
Fountain_of_Freedom_kcpr-raffaEl_3.jpg
Originally this project is rendered (and finally built) in the middle of town Poznan:

...but so beautifull sunset from Peter encouraged me to place it over the sea ;)

So these images are some kind of light study of OCTANE HDRI lighting.

I LOVE OCTANE for its stability and flexibility, and I'm really impressed with quality of Peters HDRI's.

We are near the finish line & as they say, now it's time to "push the pedal to the metal".

You'll find the counter running on my site if needed (contest ends at midnight IDL).

Good luck once again! & Keep those nice works comming =)
