And will you, if enough people wish to? Probably some kind of survey for the most wished features would do, later on. Like the core guys did for 2.0. Or do you implement every wish, step by step?

Ability to use Octane via Team Render.
This would be huge for those of us in studios with a large number of machines available to use. It's SO close right now, just need to get the missing image texture issue figured out.

How now to regulate it with OR, is too complicated and the results are well... not like the hit. Looks rather dirty.

Agree! Would be great to have different DOF / Bokeh options.
Also, I think I remember hearing its being developed, and I know it's come up before, but for me the implementation of multi-pass would make Octane pretty much the perfect render engine!
Thanks guys. Loving V2!

- Setting the Octane Objects to my own defaults if possible. E.g. I change the Daylight everytime to less power and other colors.
- MoGraphs Multi Shader with Octane's ImageTexture
- Different projection methods to the members of a Mix Shader if possible
Probably the last point is said with wrong words or has to be done on another technical way. What I want to do is e.g. having all leafs of a tree painted with one leaf-material in UV, but cover them all at the same time with another UV map or projection type with a second material containing a noise, so that all leaves have one ground color but variation over all leaves via the second material. And all this with only 2 materials in the kind of a Mix Material.
In Cinemas renderer I would do this with 2 materials assigned via the add option of the material tag or a transparency in the second material.

Sorry, it should say Octane's ImageTexture. Similar reason like the last point.

While this is still an interesting point, I realised after writing that the Random Color shader is goood excatly for what i was asking for. Very cool

Hi,
First off. Thanks for making this wonderful renderer for cinema. I work a lot with live action, so having the chance to work with Octane, melts the two worlds together perfectly.
I have a wish for future releases.
1. Anamorphic lens effects
It would be really great if we could have the chance to change the Bokeh settings. I really want to render images and get the anamorphic look. Vray has this and its called "Anisotropy"
(allows stretching of the bokeh effect horizontally or vertically to simulate anamorphic lenses.)
Thanks in advance!
