Basically, the seams seperate form neighboring textures. For instance, using a vein displacement map on the arms will seperate the texture from the torso leaving behind a black 'tear', the higher the displacement the bigger the 'tear'...unless you also happen to have a displacement map for the torso set to the same value as the one on the arm.Witpapier wrote:whats wrong
I have the same issue. Then you have to worry about the neck and hands...or any surrounding texture depending on where you apply the displacement map.
Unless of course, I'm doing it all wrong...a distinct possibility.
