hi aoktar, thanks for sharing

i'm a bit confused, in the basic tab you choose the type of material, right? why you need use colour, use specular ecc ?
could it be possible to have the same parameters and order of the octane one?
for every parameter we have three values, colour, float and texture, this means that we could mix them all toghether?
it's a pleasure to see that all could be animated, this is the real power of the integration

thanks again for your fantastic work

ciao beppe

use colour, use specular etc. is garbage:) will be removed. i'm trying to find most usefull and natural method to inject octane textures. may be remove the float and color nodes that you see. Now works with different priority, first is texture slow, second color and last one is float value. if you put a node to texture slot, which is activated. else float or color.
Also all nodes is animatable, i'll post a nice video to show how is working. It's very useful and funny on realtime previews.
And last one, material type can be change suddenly to another type.
thanks for your comments

Will the plugin respond to C4D features like the Compositing tag? How much of a scene will I compose in C4D before completing it in Octane?

it's depend to Octane features, we can try some tweaks but it can be a bad idea. Best is to wait the octane for implementings

Hello Aoktar,
We have an upcoming project for Geico that we would love to render using Octane Render. As of right now we are just using the exporter. This is not optimal because it takes 40 seconds to export the scene with all the geo and textures and then 20 seconds to render in Octane. I would love to use your new plugin on this project even if it is not fully finished just to shave of 40 seconds of render time. We will be rendering about 8 different 30 second spots so each second counts. Thank you so much. We really appreciate the good work you are doing.
