1) I think that enabling instances the sample/pixel counter doesn't count right...
2) After having installed Octane for Max 3.0 I encountered a problem with MaxStartUI.mnu file
I personalized several shortcuts in the quad menu. Every time I start 2 or 3 instances of of Max and then I close them Max corrupts this file.
Never happened before.
I noticed you added a shortcut....

As gabriele says, I got the same problem with MaxStartUI.mnu, which comes after I update the plugin to 3.0 , in both max 2011 ans 2012...

I get the same problems with maxstartUi! I thought its just me and maybe the Beta Updates I got from Autodesk. But after a rollback I still have the problems.
The research I did some days ago also mentioned people had problems with certain plugins which corrupted the file.
Mostly I get a crash of 3dsmax which asks me to save the scene but then after restart the maxstartUI is corrupt.

Добрый вечер.
В последней версии плагина не работают ies. та же сцена но в предыдущей версии источник IES работает.
WIN 7 64 3d max design 2012 x64
После изменения единиц в милиметры вроде заработало.
Закрыл и открыл заново вьюпорт и опять иеска не работает

Looks like I have added Octane properties menu by wrong way. Will try to fix that.

cuda devices shows my videocard properly but when i hit the render button 3dsmax 2013 don't render at all and octanrender viewport shows only blank checker screen
Waiting for stable 3.0 release
