My oc version is 2023.1.1 and my c4d version is 2023.2.2.
After c4d crashes, my oc material mode will fall back to 2022.1. Since the rendering of the material modes of 2023 and 2022 will be very different (mainly bumps), please fix this bug.

This is not bug but new setting to make bumps more user friendly. In Material Bump you have Bump height option.

I mean, I am using the latest mode, but after c4d crashes, oc will help me change all material calculation modes to the old mode. This makes my bumps inconsistent, and I have to change the material mode back every time it gets stuck or crashes, which is quite troublesome.

Hi, try to close c4d, then delete the oct.dat file at the following path, the c4doctane preferences will be reset to default, and a new oct.dat file will be created on next c4d start:
`C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\Cinema4D-RXX_RANDOM_CODE\prefs\oct.dat`
ciao,
Beppe

Nodes gesture issue - it doesn't work if last time gesture was used between first node and material.
It would be great if Switch Texture node will work with more node types so we can connect to it Octane gradient and Color Correction nodes too.
