ahmet@ let me know if you need the projectfile.
You may be out of limits, maybe?

Hi, been getting random crashes while working in the node editor while IPR is still running.
There's no bug report but what caused the issue is when disconnecting certain nodes inside the node editor.
Cheers.

3.08 r2
the amount of crashes with ipr and material editor and lost work i have had as a result is absolutely ridiculous.
i have to save each few minutes and have multiple iterations of a scene when doing changes.
i tried to pause it while tweaking, but then when i restart the ipr, still get random crashes.
i try not to be negative and understanding but jesus christ.
i also apologise for an unhelpful post like this, but really dont know what else to say.
love octane and the unprecedented quality of the renderer, i am just so tired of it.

Well thanks! But how to estimate bug hunting without sharing the info/scene/bugreport/steps/etc...?

I'll try and screen grab from now on in-case it will help. Usually when it crashes, it doesn't generate bug report which is tough.

I have many of these errors.
also the material preview is broken as soon as I work in the nodeeditor
Maybe the screenshot helps.
Nvidia 391.01

i recognized a lot of errors ( cuda-errors) even with following combination:
octane 3.07 and Nvidia 391.35
so for testing purposes i switch back the display-driver to 388.59 which works pretty much "error-free" the last months.

I believe that latest drivers are big headache me too. I've tried a lot of clean reinstall. I had got many crashes frequently even without C4D open. Finally i made a clean install in safe mode with 391.24 and now i feel it's better.
