Hi Aoktar,
If i remember well, it was working fine in previous versions. Very older ones, i didn't tested this recently.
If i try to drag and drop a null object or a camera as External transform to a Projection node in the Node editor, it doesn't work, i'm unable to drop it on the input field or even type the name in this input field. If i drop it in the same input field in the Attributes panel or material editor, it works.
With complex nodes structures, it could be very usefull to work only with Node editor.

Hi
Random colour doesn't work on any version of 3 that I have tried.
Any luck on fixing this?

I haven't tested that but you have to know this is not about me. I just call a open dialog command in c4d. I believe it's a c4d issue and it should be not supporting somethings.

Did not see or hear any issue for that. Are you sure that you're using it correctly? It will work on RENDER INSTANCES not else.

Hi guys,
I would like to show what i'm doing for NE right now. I believe new small changes in NE that will make much easier to work in. And I can do this kinda improvements when i feel less stressed after a good release. And would be great to hear any opinions about NE right now. So i can evaluate some of those.

This looks very interesting Ahmet,
The grouping is very welcome.
I can only think of a few minor improvements that would help me when using the NE.
- 1. Optimize (auto scale) for nodes would be helpful to quickly reduce the size of nodes based on their content:
Here's that function in Xpresso:

- 2. Gradient previews, similar to how the C4D gradient node displays when you enable previews:

Top is how Octane gradients preview, below is the C4D gradient

Maybe something like this would be nice, and not having the square preview so it fits the shape of the node better too.
- 3. Undo for the NE in general, not just the main commands, I mean layout and connections.
- 4. Have the attributes/parameter pane collapsible with a single shortcut/button would be really helpful too:

- 5. Snapping to the grid, or maybe an Align to Grid command like in Xpresso:

- 6. Detatching node connections is tricky at the moment, you can only do it by click dragging the input end and releasing.
Having an option like Alt+click or Shift+click to delete the connection would be cool. Houdini has a useful one which is shake to detach, that's one I miss in every other nodal interface when it's not there 
- 7. Maybe rounded corners and a 1px grey border for unselected nodes, just as minor cosmetic improvements would help.
Let me know if you want me to clarify anything, those are just things that have occurred to me when using it.

It seems to be really great! I want it!
Some suggestions:
1/ when you ungroup a group, it could be usefull to have the nodes automatically selected. This way, you could immediately move the nodes to an empty space of the NE board.
2/ it could be very usefull to be able to cut and paste these groups in another materials of course. Maybe it's already the case?
3/ in a marvelous world, a double click on a group would open another tab in the NE for fine tuning the content (like the double click on a group in standalone)...

4/ a SHIFT+click on a node to add it to a node selection could be usefull.
5/ a shortcut+click to activate or desactivate preview could be usefull too.
