no, not cuda errors. problems not only with c4d, but with other programs (latest creative cloud apps) too. didn't have time to find out exactly what, therefore I rolled back.

Also having a ton of crashes ever since I updated my drivers. Which driver did you roll back to?

So what's with the faceting in this render? It's just a primitive parametric sphere and an octane area light.

Also, I thought you could get the light out of the reflections? Can that not be done?

Hi rodross,
unbiased rendere doesn't have the tricks of CPU renderer, just subdivide much more your parametric sphere, that's it.
About reflection, have you tryed to set the visibility of the light at zero?

Sorry, I thought I tried that already and it turned the light off completely. I did just update, so maybe it wasn't working in the version I tried, or maybe I messed something up when I tried it. That worked, thanks.
