Hi Paul,
happy New Year to you.
Just curious if we will see a corresponding 3.05.2 version for Rhino soon.
Let's keep us updated.
Cheers
Nando

Hi - there is a problem with the new Environment pins in 3.05.2, so I would prefer to wait for the next API release to ensure users do not have problems loading scenes saves with 3.05.2.

I downloaded and installed OctaneRender version 3.3.4 and un-installed OctaneRender version 3.2. Then I dropped OctaneRenderForRhino version 3.3.4.71 on a viewport in Rhino. When I restarted Rhino the activation panel in Rhino still indicated version 3.2.0.66.

When you dragged the 3.3.4.71 installer into Rhino, did it show the installation window and install correctly?

You can Tools->Options->OctaneRenderForRhino->Propoerties->File name to track down the current version of the plugin and the installation folder. Are there any other "OctaneRender" folders under that parent folder? Are you able to provide a screenshot showing those folders pls?

Also - which SR of Rhino5 do you have installed pls?

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,
Version 5 SR12
When I dragged the installer onto Rhino the installation window came up and it looked like it installed correctly.
Here's a screen shot showing the folders. The on the left is the installation folder from the Plug-in Properties. The folder on the right shows OctaneRender 3.03.4 under Program Files>OTOY.

I can see that plugin version 3.3.4.71 has definitely not installed. I suggest you re-install it - and then you should see a 3.3.4.71 folder under the Plug-ins/OctaneRenderForRhino folder. You can safely delete the 2.24.2.51 and 3.0.20.65 folders.
