shit - I can't even work properly with a standard camera... I want to send a preview ( repeat previews without rendering)... octane is not friendly with camera standard .... conversely, if I make the clipping plane in the camera I octane to DO the RENDER !!! I don't want to do the render I just want to send previews !!!! using Grab viewport . . . shit I have to do double work .... why not make friends with octane 3D max standard camera .... or do full-time work in octane camera
..................if it's impossible let's do the optimize - button of the camera camera 3dmax to OCTANE and back and the issue resolved

why did you remove the grid chess alpha channel... as now I have to analyze the refraction in the glass ?
....................with chess grid I can see the angle of refraction and the roughness of chess... without the net - I can't see anything am I blind

if I can do to eliminate shadows on all objects - why can't I just tick the source of light not to cast shadows
(for what ? - for example for jewelry.... I want to emphasize the flare but don't want the glare cast a shadow ... and I'd like not to count it twice projects) basic things you need to do .... or you will eat Iray ++ who really wants to make a full support for basic materials

p/s it is interesting that Vray RT is a function of determining noise in the picture ... and where there is already "pure it stops the calculation .... a very interesting feature

i can“t believe this thread is falling asleep; feels like people have resigned...
i feel the urge to add fuel to the diminishing fire:
Why do we have to beg for every single feature?

Instead OTOY should check what the competitors do and try to make it better (or at least add a few basics...)!

Well lets see what V3 for 3dsmax will offer.
