Deane - just shortcut http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=33 and it will always take you to the latest build. You can see the title of this thread has the actual Octane release that the current Poser plugin as build from. At the moment the Poser plugin is at 2.12.1.34. The first 3 digits are the Octane build the Poser plugin was compiled with (ie. 2.12.1). The title of this thread confirms it's for Octane 2.12.1. So if you want to network render, you need the 2.12.1 slave - available from the above shortcut.

Hi,
Getting some new errors with the latest version - OctaneRender_for_Poser_2_12_1_34_Win64:

In the Wacro window:
MemoryError

(repeats about 100 times)

In a new popup window:

Octane is potentially already in memory (from another instance of Poser or Standalone?). Can you pls try rebooting and try rendering again.

Hey - sorry, I had already shut it down. I will try that if it happens again.

BTW - I don't think we say it enough but, you've done an awesome job on this software!!!

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.12.1.35
- Added Load and Save a Material to/from the Octane Standalone LocalDb. This is a rightclick menu item in the Materials tab for material nodes. Removed the "Import ORBX" options, since this can now be done via the new "Load Material from LocalDb" command
- Added Materials tab Scene menu option "Reset all Hair Widths to Default" to set all Hair Width values in the scene to the default value set in the plugin Setup
- Animated textures (ie. loading an image sequence) in the Daylight of Texture Environment texture now renders the image sequence when rendering an animation

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.13.0.36
- Compiled with Octane 2.13 (pls see the Standalone 2.13 thread for the substantial changes in this release)
- IMPORTANT: Requires Cuda driver 344.x or later
- Added Import/Export All Octane Settings menu item to the Settings tab rightclick menu. This will save all Octane data (incl materials) for the scene to a file. You can then import that file to another scene. Use with caution, since when importing it will clear out all existing Octane settings prior to importing the new settings from file.

Sweet, awesome, great... yeah... nah...
I've had installed for a few days now nVidia Driver version 344.65 and Octane for Poser after installing this update still shows (computer model 3.5) even though this version was compile against Octane 2.13 which switched to a CUDA 6.5... is that normal for this version and only one Titan card installed in my system?

Hi Deane - the Compute Model is specific to your card and does not change when you update your Cuda drivers.

For the technically users - I have published some info on how to access the plugin data from Poser's python interpreter at http://poserphysics.blogspot.com.au/201 ... -from.html.
