Evolutionary, thank you for the update on the Poser Pro 2014 sale. I went ahead and bought it so now I'm using Poser Pro 2014 as well. I downloaded the demo and YEAY! It's working. Now to watch some YouTube videos on how to use it.
And yes, Thank you Paul for your efforts to make this plug-in work. I only used it a few short times just to see what it's like and I am very very happy! It's nice to work in Poser see your results in real time.

Hmmm I just installed the latest version of the demo (2.10.0.29) and now I'm having an account issue with the Plug-in. I did not have this issue with the previous version of the demo.
Octane Render Set Up
Account (tab)
OctaneLive User ID:
I put my OctaneLive userID/password from my Account page here on render.otoy.com and I get an "Error Activating account" message.

Are you sure you are putting the Poser plugin UserId in? Perhaps you accidentally entered the Octane Standalone UserId.

Now that you mention it, when you posted the 2.10.0.29 version at the beginning of this thread, I thought it was the DEMO version. So now it makes sense as I do not have a Poser plugin UserId.
I just went to the download page and got the demo version of the poser plugin, but I see it's still 2.0.6.23. Will there be an updated version of the demo?

The demo won't be updated until Octane 2.10 is stable, which might be quite some time (since render passes are undergoing change).

I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:
2.11.1.31
- Compiled against Octane 2.11.1
- Stopped the "Texture" node being transferred when changing the Environment node from Texture Environment to Daylight (and vise-versa)
- Fixed issue where Network Render settings were not being saved
- Added Highlight Compression to the Imager settings (see Standalone release notes for details)
- Changes to render passes as per Octane Standalone
- Added additional Color Correction node pins (see Standalone release notes for details)
- Added new Noise texture node (see Standalone release notes for details)
- Added additional kernel pin Static Noise (see Standalone release notes for details)
I have assessed the viability of implementing HDR Light Studio integration into the OSX version of OctaneRender for Poser, and determined that is not viable for someone with my limited OSX/XCode skills (it requires a very good knowledge of low-level OSX functions). If there is sufficient demand in the future, I can re-assess this.
