Next step is a physical sky with clouds, I am not fan of the clouds in the renders.

Wow!! The displacement sounds much to be the tessellation (DX11/SM5.0).

But I don't deserve "motion blur".
EDIT: see... and heeh!? 6 pages. lol

It is up to you what to use. It is just a texture.

Octane 2.0 seems to be a real game changer in the animation industry...

Is it rendered with PathTracing?
Also, the landscapes are absolutely amazing. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to achieve the atmospheric fog/haze?
It would be great if the z-depth could be used as a post effect, it would be a great way to fake fog very quickly and still use Direct Lighting. For now I usually output the z-depth separately and do it in AE.
