The new version (2.13) with the 900 series enhancements have really improved the 980's performance, nice. The samples are approximate as they never really settle down and stay constant, alpha shadows off.

DL - ~22.09 Ms/sec
DL(coherence on) - ~27.87 Ms/sec

PT - ~7.00 Ms/sec
PT (coherence on) - ~7.45 Ms/sec

PMC - 4.43 Ms/sec (PMC settled down and stayed steady)

The card got up to 72C in temperature.

Wow. Up from 3.66 in PT (which I think was your first test result with the 980?) - that's almost a 100% improvement! Well done team Otoy!

This thread has too many variables for me to make any simple comparisons but that seems to be faster than a 780 and not a million miles off a780Ti - can anyone confirm?

Here it varies from 11.8 to 12.3

1. What are your temps on 980?
2. Could you please post results for path term power 1?

I am also happy 900 got speed up!

The coolest card is at 43C and the hottest at 46C

With pathterm at 1.00

DL: 118.3
PT: 53.5

Also It looks as if my work will be purchasing a 4x TitanZ liquid cooled system from MAINGEAR. So I will have some sweet numbers to share in a few weeks
