Could you please do the test on 2.12.1 - latest one and for the following settings:

(Here are scores for single 780 6GB @ 1228mhz core, 7000mhz mem)

PT, Alpha shadows off:
path term power 0.3, coherent mode off ( 8.06 ms/s)
path term power 0 , coherent mode off ( 5.50 ms/s)
path term power 1 , coherent mode off (13.50 ms/s)
path term power 1 , coherent mode on (14.70 ms/s)

and give us core and memory clocks too. What about temps, fan speed (rpm, %), noise.

These are the results of TitanZ with Octane 2.12.1
@ 940-980mhz core (where can I see the mhz mem?)

PT, Alpha shadows off (>1000 s/px):
path term power 0.3, coherent mode off (15.58 ms/s)
path term power 0 , coherent mode off (10.92 ms/s)
path term power 1 , coherent mode off (26.70 ms/s)
path term power 1 , coherent mode on (28.59 ms/s)
note: the ms/snumbers are dropping and rising all the time.. these is appr. the average numbers

now I've just got really frustrated..isn't Z marketed as having ~8TFLOPs, while TitanBlack ~5TFLOPs of SP?
so how on earth TitanZ can almost match 2x TitanBlacks?
Wasn't #OctaneRender relying on SinglePrecision performance?
Or is is the case were it (TitanZ) has been tweaked, after AMD pushed their dual GPU card, nVidia was holding down Z in labs..
..is this performance we are seeing related to some optimisations they've made?

@ Rappet: download msi afterburner - best soft to monitor your gpus (also temps for cpu). Go to settings, choose a desired card and watch the scores - see the screenshot.

PS. Great results for Z - so I must overclock by about +200mhz to get on 2x780 what you have on Z. Just give my the core clock and if it is about 900mhx it means we have a pretty potential room for overclocking at stock volts. So please pass core clock.

@Glimpse - I am not that surprised. I was expecting just 2xTITAN Black performance. Black has 2880 cores, so does Z but x2. Core clock shall be similar, memory clocks too. I would not look at TFLOPS. If the technology for black and Z is same, but just doubled gpus, I expected doubled performance. The only thing I assume might be different - is black might be a better overclocker than Z - same as 580 was compared to 590.

@Rappet - could you please check in nVidia panel settings if you have double precision off (shall be off by default).

So for now I am super happy with my Strix 780 6GB - for two I payed 900$ and got Z performance. But I am almost sure next build will be on 4xZs or even better cards - surely watercooled

Did you use Octane 2.12?
If so, can you please test score seperately (both appr 12.00?)
The difference is too big, is it not?
I got one TitanZ with score path term power 0.3, coherent mode of: 15.58 ms/s when >1000 s/px)

The new scores. ( an average, not at the highest peak - getting bigger numbers to start with ) these are after about 5 seconds.
