Yep, I hope PR7 is finally 'the one'. It's a shame because it was otherwise looking pretty stable.

I'm anxiously awaiting some benchmarks on how Octane X will ultimately perform on the new M1 chips before purchasing a MacMini. What is the situation with cross platform network rendering? I was told that might not come until a final release of 2021? But previously it was mentioned cross platform network rendering would arrive with he release of Big Sur. That is also going to factor into my purchasing decision.

It's been rendering really fast for me. Eagerly awaiting PR7 (or a tip if it were to drop in as an enterprise build PR6, etc)

OctaneX for Maya v18.21 Enterprise PR7 (
Big Sur only) is ready and available on Maya forum section.

I know you guys love this question, but is there an ETA for the PR7 build for C4D? Even if it's a "this week" or "next week" instead of a specific day?
Genuinely curious as I was a little too quick to update to 11.1 today.
