Hi Nick73,
It seems to work, could you share your issued scene?

Converting materials has been broken in 10.19. Previous release did convert normal map and I should only toggle it from bump node to normal. Now It's missing at all. I guess I preferred as it was before. Another thing, I believe the script should convert transparency map into transmission node with a gamma of 2.2. I am using this all the time with good results.
Thank You.
Hi Nick73,
yes, the normal/bump conversion is a know issue.
About vray trasparency map, it is the opacity map in Octane, not transmission.

Hi Paride,

My fault that was a standard material. I think Vray Translucency Map is Octane Transmission (at least this works good for me).

Kind Regards
Nick

Hi,
In this case the bug might be in the exporter...

Thank you!!

Hi Nick73,
exporting to .orbx, SA gets the Mesh Uv projection active only; I guess it depends on SDK.
You could try using a composite material node.

if you animate transparency in the material, then import it into the stand ORBX, the animation does not work

Hi Elvis,
Do you mean the Opacity of an Octane material ?
It seems to works fine ; here is a sample with a Glossy material:
mtl_opac_anim.zip
(90.03 KiB) Downloaded 194 times
Note: the 'Animation' checkbox must be enabled in the Octane export dialog (and some start/end frame set..)
I hope that helps,
Thanks
