More Maya resources will come online in the next two weeks. This will free Jim to focus more of his time on Max/Blender. We also have Maxc working on the 3DS max material converter to that end as well.

We are planning to push out beta V3 plug-ins for Max, Maya and Blender at GTC.

Visbility using the layer system works correctly in V3 for me (I mostly use SE). It wasn't in V2.

wow... GTC in April ?
so nothing for max until april for v3... and nothing for v2 too , as people are too busy for v3....

To me the worst has been:

1- Viewport navigation slowed somewhere around the most recent updates, maybe since two months ago or so. That's when not even rendering anything at all, just by having Octane as the renderer.
2- The renderer freezing for around 10 seconds or more when unpaused after making a change, or after being initialized. Also started at around the same time as #1.

I still use v2.24.2 - 2.13... works smooth

Yeah I'm also stuck at 2.13 :)
