Yes indeed. But still needs lot of fixes. Vertex maps are on 3.0 list. But i don't know the progress for it. We will see texture baking on coming versions.

One question: Will render instances using the instance object in c4d be supported in v3?

It's not a matter of SDK. It's related with my implementation. That's very hard to do in current structure of plugin. And i'm not sure that I can without loosing the stability and performance of interactive mode.

I think you are out of VRAM. As you know 3.0 can use System RAM for render buffers. But there should be some VRAM usage for geometries. I'm not sure, maybe a bug.

Is it possible to run v3 alongside with the 2.24.2? What would be the fastest way to go back and forth between v2 and 3?

I would like to demo Octane for C4D R17 before purchasing it. Is that possible, I see only demo for R16 version? I made mistake and purchased Blender version before test it thoroughly, and now I can not switch license neither get refund (at least I think as NZ team responds once in month).
