Here is my work where I used "1931 Low Sun_4k.hdr" for lighting. 3d models are from dimensiva.com, 3dsky.org, 3darchive.net and designconnect.com.

Hi, here is my contribution:
'TapperFlats'
0707 Dawn Sun hdr
Archicad/Octane plugin
I started out with the front balcony scene simpy looking over a plane water.
Then I decided to go for an architectural viz after all and constructed the TapperFlat building.
Next step was the cliff with scattered trees on top.
And finally the fog was the mayor timekilling part of the viz.. tweaking with the scattering, scale and scatter direction.
I clipped the visual to the building, but I also like to show you the whole scene.
I have done no other post then tonecorrection on the render to emphasize the atmosphere I was 'hunting' for.
The biggest challenge for me was to make this viz with one render and with HDR light only.
(Often I make a PT and DL render and mix them afterwards, or use one render with mixed daylight/hdr background.)
PS
Glimpse, thanx for this challenge... as a collateral this made me finally get into making fog

Really nice images - and very moody fog! Love fog.

Hi,
here is my small entry for this interessting contest. I started this right at the beginning,
when it was like "it would be nice, if it will be architectural" and not as it is now: "It should be architectual..."
So it might be a bit off topic now

I hope it doesn´t matter!
I used the both example HDR-Images of Peters blog:
http://www.peterguthrie.net/blog/2015/3 ... ane-render
Thanks a lot to Tom and Peter.
Last but not least, my images:
Bye, Chriz
