I agree most of your words. I know making software is a kind of gambling because you find a bug in an important moment and you plans are gone. No problem just send a line long post and 99% of the users will understanding. But. I want to the same rights and posibilities just like another customers. It not my fault if a group of users buy less packages than the developers/ceo/idontknowwho expected.

If im not wrong its a commercial package which advertised with support of Blender. There is no any official exporter developed by Otoy. And here comes the stong side of blender the community helped. Its a good thing but i see one side the money make the rules - wihch are the privileged packages/plattforms - and on the another side volunteers/users/diy make the tool which maybe increase the sales?

Today Blender integrated is announced exactly a year ago : http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=34438
I bought two days later. I bought Octane in 2011 and use maybe 20 hours. Why? When i bought the standalone i beleive the plugin comes. When I bought the plugin i beleive the Mac version comes in short. A few months and i celebrate the third birthday of my Octane Invoice.... So sorry but im a bit upset :)

I am very upset, i purchased plugin license in august 2013, and believed there will be mac version soon, there is written "A Mac version will follow soon." in the announcement. More then a year after, and nothing is released and i got zero response from developer. so i abandoned octane completely..
now just checking this forum once a month, just curious if some kind of miracle happened
