This is going to be soooo much fun.

I was wanting to do something like this once the procedural texturing was more mature, but this works too.

Unfortunately massive usage of dirt can lead to significant speed drop up to 3 times in this picture.

Thats one nice material, great use of dirt, I guess the performance hit is an issue but also unwrapping a model like that would be time consuming too.

Hmmm... well how does it perform with a just little dirt? If its not a lot different like 2/3 speed then that's fine I think. Unless you are doing something 'artisitic/rustic' in nature then you possibly only want to have things look 'not too new'

On the eye looks wrong, or perhaps it is just not enough samples?
Perhaps it shouldnt be applied to emitters or should be multiplied??
