But, I was wrong, the file that causes the red hue ot "Tan" affect is the V5.12TPSSSs1 TGX NT LV CC corrected.poe file. not the TGX 5.11 file. Sorry about that. Anyway, sent you files using various files of yours, and need some feedback. Thanks. Sorry for the confusion.
Randall.
Yeah the "CC" stands for color correction and as TRRazor said above, the value texture2 needs to read 255/255/255 to get rid of the tan effect. I got caught on this as well!
Now, if someone could kindly tell me what "NT" and "LV" means I would be ecstatic...I assume LV stands for less velvet? Maybe?
Sam
Nt No transparency maps..... LV less velvet. Guys Ill have the tutorial as soon as i have time.. it will be soon

This is my new favorite skin shader!

I re-created it for use with the DAZ Studio Octane plugin. This is a 10 minute render of Genesis 2 Female using Pathtracing Kernel and HDR Lighting.

Thanks, Randall.

This is the REDSPEC TGX 5.2 shader with the "Empty Room" HDRI from the sIBL Archive's Starter Set (It's on the right side of the screen under "Starter's sIBL-Collection":

Thank you!

Yes, I can't wait for 2.0 for both the displacement feature and dynamic hair.

An illustration (before/after montage) what you can expect from our commercial product release.
We're planning on releasing several packages of our skin shader.
The mid-priced / higher priced bundles will contain additional content (additional shaders, currently planned are: water, hair and vegetation)
We're really aiming for proper documentation (manual, how-to's) in order to make RedSpec as customizable as possible and to make it as easy as child's play to use the shaders out of the box.
As soon as we're having something representable we'll talk to the big storefronts (DAZ3D, Renderosity, RuntimeDNA).
We're also in talks with Otoy to make the product compatible with as many versions of OctaneRender as possible - meaning we'll try and add 2.0 compatibility and maximum downwards compatibility at launch.
We'll let everybody know once we're through with the important steps and when/where you will be able to get your hands on the new RedSpec.
Until then: It's "When it's done"

The word "RedSpec" actually stems from the fact that a lot of the effect of our shaders lies within the "secret-sauce"-type usage of
specular materials.
As for the "red" actually Witpapier is known by another name - check out his DA profile here, and you'll know
