We had a problem coming up last minute, forcing us to delay the release.

The release will be there in a matter of days, rather than weeks; it should definitely arrive by next week.

The 5 stages of grief

1-Denial-"this can't be happening to me"
2-Anger-"why me?"
3-Bargaining - Begging, wishing, praying for the plugin to come out
4-Depression - Overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, frustration, bitterness
5-Acceptance - You have to accept the loss, not just try to bear it quietly

Now we've all clearly reached the 5th stage LOL

Stage 5 clearly isn't the stage you want your customers to reach when you're about to release a new product. All the excitement is gone and people stop checking the site for updates. When the product finally comes out sales will take a moment longer to gain momentum. Could be the early death of a new product.

Nonetheless I don't think that this is a real issue for this 3ds max plug. We aren't happy about the handling of the situation here but at the end of the day we're in need of this plugin. We will buy it anyway.

Again: We aren't happy how this is handled. Anyway, thanks for developing stuff like that.

I would like to know what say the 10 beta testers chosen by Refractive two months ago.

They know well what's the state of this plugin

We could shot a 3d movie: "The Octane for Max Mystery"

:D

I'd like to hear about it, too. But I guess they're probably not allowed to talk about it.

Sorry Guys

Us Alpha testers had to sign a rather official looking form.

More than our life worth to make any comments on how its progressing.

I'm sure it will be along as soon as it's fully ready.
