This would make wonders and really stand tall above the Iray Plugin which has numerous packs out just for lighting. This would make the program so much better. Its getting really tiresome having to go back to poser and back to daz for the new generation 3 content and not having a specific lighting system available. I really wish the addon to make HDR Lightmap work in Daz Studio 4.8+. Please pass the note along and let me know if there is any possibility for this in any new versions for the OcDS version. Thank you
What does that plugin do exactly?

It makes light environments/HDR, see attachment.

It looks great but cost £295. Would be good to have better lighting options integrated into OcDS plugin like IRAY offers rather than needing to buy another plugin. But support for HDR Light Studio in OcDS would be useful for those that can afford it. The more integration with other products the better!

I dunno but I've made EXR with OcDS and the standalone(using ORBX exported from Daz plugin) to use as HDR for renders before. I'm sure there are values to that tool, but there are other priorities that would benefit more users that should be tended to first.
Not sure something like that is realistic sadly. If resources were unlimited it wouldn't be a bad thing. Years ago we were told there was a photoshop plugin in development, and I've seen comments from the Look At My Hair developer that said OcDS support was in discussions(again, years ago at this point). They only hold up supposedly was testers...
So much to do so little time

I think any fixes and improvements should focus on the majority of users in this tiny little community that is probably dying slowly

LAMH compatibility would be excellent and is more of a priority for me.

Speak of hair, how do we actually utilize Octane Render fur engine? Which one does the job correctly... Garibaldi? LMAH?

As far as I'm aware this functionality has yet to be introduced in the plugin.

Wish I knew. Not sure I have seen a fur node in the plugin. I do know it wouldn't support those Daz solutions as they use totally different tech.

LAMH’s hair can convert to obj,so you can render it by octane render

True, but the geometry files are then simply huge and you hit the maximum polygon limit of Octane pretty quickly with this approach. But for simple scenes with a relative low hair densities it definitely works as a workaround.
