Maya's camera should be exported correctly.
(for correct matching you should set its 'Fit Resolution Gate' to 'Horizontal')
Your issue is certainly caused by a scale problem.
Check if you've the latest version of the script that's not handling the scale.
(if I remember well Bazuka removed the rescale things in the script)
And set the 'Obj File Unit' in the octane 'OBJ Mesh Import'...

I know there hasn't been a new version of this exporter in awhile, and for the most part the current one works pretty well.
One feature missing that would be useful to a lot of people would be the option to select .exr and .png 16-bit file types for animation sequences. I believe some of the other exporters have this now, and it would be great to have that in the Maya one! If I had any programming skill I would gladly do it myself, but unfortunately I don't

It seems to be working alright for me. Make sure you have the latest version of the plugin? 2.5 I believe. (granted there hasn't been a new version for a long time)

I got a little in to MEL script and added an option that I was missing.
You can now choose the output format when rendering an animation. All possible formats (PNG, PNG 16bit, EXR and EXR Tonemapped) are available.
I also changed the padding, before it was xxx.001.png now it's xxx_001.png

I haven't tested it very much. Please report any bugs if you encounter one.

Wow, thanks for doing this! Outputting EXR's will go a long way in post production.

First of all.. i really appreciate your job.
There is little problem we have..
if i want to use camera only option. Octane imports many unwanted copy of obj files. and this error causes very big time losses in big scenes.. (double voxelizing, parsing faces etc.)
if i unmark the checkbox of camera only option.. There is no problem..
i hope you response quickly..
cheers..
