Closing the liveviewer on mac (like to switch layouts back to modeling) causes C4D to crash (2023, m1 silicone)

I use Dirt in Bump frequently, but not directly. I don't think the direct data output from the Dirt node is what the Bump input expects. I generally run Dirt through a gradient for finer control, and often mix it with other textures, noise, etc.RTF wrote:Does anyone know why the Dirt node does not respond when connected to bump or normal?
The previous version was working
Is this a bug?

There are not bugs as I know. Removed R9 because of stability issues and worked on R8 and moved to R10. Telling something that's just speculating without sharing info.thanulee wrote:Haven't installed r10 just yet but a friend just pmed me that he has a lot of live viewer bugs on 2023 and has to restart all the time. Unsure what that is, just passing this info here. Cheers!
The first thing to do is try updating to 2022.1.1 R5. There have been several tweaks since 2022.1 R10.desire wrote:Hi there!
At R10 noticed unexpected behavior of light sources in case of enable/disable them.
Please look at video file by the link, it's much more detailed than words.
R7 and R8 - lights' enable/disable behavior is ok.
Thank you.
