Please improve GUI/Buttons. With new update I'm feeling like an idio* of clicking on refresh button of Life Preview that work..not work...
sent to life preview...stop..resent not working
close life preview and rest octane windows open from the menu...then works...really annoying!

the value where 0 in Preview samples and Preview size and opengl samples and texture power.

it works fine without a bitmap texture in the shader.
but with a bitmap. This scene for example gave me that >
i should be able to see the texture on the object in the viewport right ?

yes it should show up textures on opengl. Also don't check "experimental". I'm not sure what's the problem. I advice to all that should test on different scenes and scenarios first before sending anything as a issue or bug. Not for you, thanks

I have been having the same issue as valters, where the Live View doesn't update like it should and the refresh is very inconsistent. It works correctly about a third of the time.

Also, settings do not update to the picture viewer correctly. What I've had to do to fix this is enable 'overwrite kernel settings' and manually put my settings in there. I wouldn't mind this so much if I could access my presets in the 'overwrite' tab. Because I can't, this is very annoying.

hmm, weird. Are you sure that you are using correct the things? I'm using the plugin for doing jobs and so testing in production environment. Also lot of people is using without this kind of problems. No one says that's "annoying". Can you show something to us except words? Maybe some video capture would be great. Thanks

I dont know if anyone pointed this out already, but mix materials with opacity maps dont work correctly in info channel passes, I made the leaves with mix material, and ambient occlusion/zdepth pass shows the whole plane without the alpha.
