Have you tried MSI Afterburner? Works a treat on my 2 x GTX 590's and 2 x GTX 580 3GB's. When I set my rig up for a big render I dial the fans to 85% and also turn up my PCI fan controller to maximise air-flow through the case. I get about 80 - 85 degrees on average.
No I haven't but it seems to be for certain MSI cards only. Mine is Gigabyte

I also downloaded EVGA PrecisionX which has similar features. Thanks for the tip anyway

Sure thing, although it works fine on my Asus, Zotac and Gigabyte cards. AFAIK it's not limited to MSI cards only:)
I am using version 3.0, and version 4.0 has just been released.

Whenever I overclock TITANs they render without problems but here and there my 3D locks up ( for using OpenGL I guess ), maybe I should overclock all other cards except the display card.

Oh, ok, then I might try it, the EVGA software is confusing and complicated because of the 'fancy' graphical interface. Why these software need to look like some game?
Afterburner looks much cleaner, thanks for the tip

The checks texture can't produce a bump map, the black and white checks don't have a local gradient to make possible a bump effect. You need a texture map like a grid, perhaps something like this:

WOW Afterburner is great! It is very customizable (almost too much, it takes long time to get all the icons and monitor config as you want and customization is a bit complicated

) and it can even show the monitor values or even graphs on my 3DConnexion Spacepilot Pro LCD display
Thank you very much!

In theory now picking should support pick surfaces in the instances, or pick over any kind of camera configuration (orthographic, lens shift, perspective correction, etc.)

Thanks juanjo, i did that, but it could be so fun to directly use the check texture (quicker).
I have an another request
I have some problem with "cast shadow" of the lights
it s always ON for me , even if i uncheck the option. Is it only my way (i use the 2.6.1 version)
