All nodes have the same Nvidia drivers:

Hi,
it is an Octane core issue, and I have the same issue only on my Render-Node machine with Win 10 and RTX 2070 Super, but we have not found the culprit yet :(
What are the specs of yours Render-Nodes?
Surely it is not an Nvidia driver issue since I have tried several ones without success, and this is only happening with Network rendering enabled, the machine is rendering without issues if net render is disabled.

ciao,
Beppe

First of all thank you to the team. :)

Drag & drop an environment HDR from the asset browser seems not work. It does work from the windows explorer though.

Could you please share more information about your specific setup? HW, drivers, OS version would be helpful. Thank you.

All systems are on Windows 10 pro with latest windows updates

Crashing machines:

Working machines:

One difference between my working machines that crash and the ones that don't: The ones that crash need to have Windows activated

Thanks for your collaboration!

Please, try to run Standalone 2025.2 on Render-Node with RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 3080.
Then go to menu File/Preferences/Devices, and disable RTX 2080 Ti, in order to render only with RTX 3080,.
Then open any .orbx scene and start rendering.
Then go again to Preferences/Network Render, connect the working Render-Node machine, and close the panel.

In my case, with 2x RTX 2070 Super, net render starts for few seconds, then there is a blue circle on the mouse arrow, and Standalone quits unexpectedly without errors.

ciao,
Beppe

Hello!
Often get strange results with MoBlur on cloner object. There are some frames appear with weird smudged clones over image sequence.
Tell me please, what I miss this time?

previously, more or less successfully solved those effect by choosing "transform/vector" in the motion blur bookmark of octane object tag

thank you

Hi,
what happens if you change the MoGraph Cloner mode to Render-Instance?
If there is no deformed geometry, you should keep the motion blur to Transform only.

Beppe

Yep in final worked changing clone mode to Render-Instance or Multi-Instance modes.
If change Instance to Render-Instance without resending a scene, clones dissapear... So I miss resending a scene.
Thank you for your answer.

@UON.Visuals:
Net Render issue with RTX 20X0 and Win 10 in 2025.2/2025.2.1 has been internally fixed, and will be part of next Standalone update.

ciao,
Beppe
