yes, what you did works, but do the copy of that instance - it will not show it on my system.. until viewport reload
.. instance to instance fine, instance to copy not fine..
.. also do renderabe object on and off ... it will turn on but not off - without viewport restart,.,
.. I think those two are relatable bugs
- also this one old issue (maybe bug) - all of my default lights have a slight blueish tint at 6500 K - isn't that supposed to be pure white?

hi, i have a problem, i can't use the sun becouse i see the light but none shadows, i would like know why happen this

Hi merid888,
cast shadow are on stage, I can see them. You can not see shadows if there is too much reflective material on the ground, that's right.

Looks like Cinema4D already got a Version 4 build... when is Max going to get V4?

..how do we use the ORC any experiences, how much is it, and requirements, cant find anything quickly regarding 3dsmax workflow
How can I get an estimate for a job?
example: my octanebench is 100, and my project takes 10 hours / around 1 minute per frame, 250 frames - how much is for the 1x speed and 10x speed and 100x speed

Hi Paridie,
I know i asked this question before but I just cannot get fake volume lights to look like in the picture using AO only. The light beams scatter too much for me. Do you know by any chance how to do it? This will be for the undersea look. Thank you

I'm not sure to understand what you mean, if you want more sharpness you could reduce size emitter (or sun).

Object layer rendering is not working with VDB volumes
Volume just disappears from the render and rendering like transparent part
