I think that this problem has been fixed in the final 3.07 Octane core: "Fixed loading of the net render daemon selection from the preferences.", so it should be also fixed in the next build of the LightWave plugin that I want to release later this week.

Yeah, really! Juanjo, do you think they want to get 3.08 further and have more OSL goodies before you guys get builds for plugs?.. Or do you have it already?

I'm already working on the 3.08 plugins. I need to figure how to support the dynamic nodes needed by the OSL feature in LightWave, something not easy at all due to the ancient node and SDK LightWave architecture, but I'm sure that I'll find how to do it ;)

Yes, probably I'll release one first build as soon as possible with all the 3.08 new features but without the OSL node, to later work on the OSL stuff.

Great news with the updates! I came to the forum to see if there had been anything recently..and low and behold there was something new!

If I can ask this be put on the list, as you had mentioned it should be pretty easy to implement. I have a workflow issue...

IPR and Selected Only Workflow:
I would like to have a button on the menu that opens IPR in Selected Only or IPR in Full Scene mode. Currently we have to open IPR and it remembers the last selection which is great. However when you have 800+MB of objects in your scene unselecting IPR Sel Only once it's opened actually forces two loads...it finishes the first and then begins the second (or at least I have to, because it missed a few while Sel Only was checked).

you may not think this is a big deal until you have to wait 1+ mins or so to have your scene load and then load it again with the check box unchecked. It's a pain.

If I could launch IPR with Sel Only to begin with, or IPR Full to begin with it would save me lot's of headaches! Thanks!
