You need to update to 3.6.4.34.

I've already located the wrong file references and am currently fixing this.
An update should release today / tomorrow the latest.

Just a thought... but can you make the shaders work with skins that don't have face seams? You mentioned that you're seeing that a lot lately.

I only have a few skins behaving that way, V8 comes to mind...

I got the model designer to fix this one... mostly kinda sorta... (Often you can argue that they claim it works with 3Delight, and those seams show up there.);

Anyways, I think it would be better to simply talk about how to adjust the shaders for what are showing up as problem areas, like the face.

On another note.. I had no issues with the new G3M shaders, but same issues with V8... and V8 is full of seams on the face, etc.

As you've already mentioned - most of the time - when you get visible seams on a character, it's due to the artist not having textured properly.
A shader will always only be as good as the textures you're using it on top of.

Then of course, a contributing factor is, that it's quite uncommon to have as many material zones on a single figure, as you're having it with the DAZ3D figures - this doesn't necessarily make the job easier, but more difficult for up and coming texture artists.
In game design, for example, you usually have one material zone - read texture - for the complete body of a character.

There is very little to nothing, we can compensate with shader design, when the textures weren't designed properly.

Yeah, sometimes it's amazing what gets through the QC at DAZ.

We just started rolling out this mandatory update for all TGX tailored MK3 for Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 Female customers.
This contains corrections to files, which contained wrong references and thus loaded wrong values into some node dials in OctaneRender.

We recommend a fresh install of the 2-click presets, you can do this by doing the following:
- Browse to the folder where you installed the folder named "extract_to_DS_content_directory" the last time
- Browse to People\Genesis 3 Female\Materials\RedSpec SSS\RedSped TGX tailored MK3 for Genesis 3 Females and delete it
- Browse to People\Genesis 8 Female\Materials\RedSpec SSS\RedSped TGX tailored MK3 for Genesis 8 Females and delete it
- Extract the updated .zip file to the above mentioned folder.

This should leave you with a fresh install of the 2-click presets.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Should you have questions regarding the shaders or the update, please post them here, or in the comments section of the corresponding post of our deviantArt live journal entry

Thanks and Happy Rendering

Noel

Noel... the shaders are completely different between gens and torso. That's where the seams are. Specifically you have some color adjustments for torso skin which appears to be missing on the gens.
