Hi smicha,

I follow your post with interest, why do you use 2 pumps?
I would like to upgrade my 4 titan system with watercooling, but I don't know what radiator to choose.
What do you think about phobya xtreme nova 1080
http://www.aquatuning.fr/refroidissemen ... ull-copper
Do I get it with 60mm thikness or 43mm ?

thank you for your response

Reason for two pumps:
1. If one of them dies the other one keeps the system running - safety reasons.
2. Increased pressure (not speed of waterflow) - this means two pumps push water much stronger, which may be important for more extensive builds.
3. Reduced noise level - setting pumps at 25-40% reduces their vibrations and make them inaudible (especially with mod kits which I'll get for this build). One pump can handle even 4 titans but with max settings and greater noise.

Radiator for 4 titans: the 1080 is fine (for an external setup) - it has 9 cooling units. More important than radiator thickness is its surface - 2x120 will always be better than 1x120 of double thickness. For really thick radiators (alphacool monsta series) you'll need push-pull setup or high pressure fans. So it's up to you whether you'll go with silent fans but 18 of them, or 9 with stronger static pressure.

P.S. I missed somehow!!! You managed to EK blocks! =) man they look cool!
Still prefer plain black pieces but those are attractive to say the least =)

I wanted plain blacks but had no choice - last two pieces.

Thanks and do you think to watercool CPU too?
I would put in 4 fan of 180mm in place of 9*120, it seems that is more quiet

Have you got an idea of the pressure that you have in your loop?
You don't be afraid that a pipe disconnect?

I'm looking forward to see your temperature results

180mm rads are not compatible with 900D..
You need external rads or something bigger,
like caseLabs cases..

I posted all temp results at my build log - see my signature. I set my pumps to max 40% but with 100% there is no risk to blow the loop :)

Temps under heavy load and 25% overclock - water 35C, gps 35-45C, cpu 45-55C. At idle - water 25C, gpus 25C, cpu 30 (at 1.3V constant 4.5ghz). Silence overall.
