				Hi Paquito,
I could not resist and tested you scene - it is extremely well optimized in terms of speed. Guess what - 7 seconds on my machine with 150ms/s

 So great job, man!
PS. I am currently intensively learning modo - don't you use the Octane Plugin for Modo, do you? I am just testing the demo and it works like a charm. Internal subdiv just rocks and the load of vram is so fast, blazing fast.
Is there a tutorial of how to create local custom database with textures for modo? Where shall I keep the texture files, etc...If you could pass any useful link I'd be grateful.
Small edit - PT with some tweaks gives also great results and speed - 18 seconds. See the screenshot for settings.

Yes, I use the plugin, but merely just for exporting to ocs o I get the nodes all done.
About making custom presets and adding them to the presets panel. I have a tutorial, although it´s in spanish, but very visual, I guess you will find it useful. (admin: feel free to remove the link if it´s not suitable for this thread/forum)

How come you don't render directly from Modo?

Hello again Paquito, the scene is really well optimized.
Here are some shots, I added bump to the tile in the wall. Great work.

I find the standalone workflow easier and more flexible than with the plugin. The simple fact that you need to release the mouse everytime you change a value to see how it performs is really annoying.
