The LW SDK doesn't have a function to set the render time in the render window. There is a feature request for this issue, but currently it is not possible.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of, otherwise you would have done that already
Then could you add option to the plugin debug log so that the info level was adjustable, like render times and resolution and some basic settings used only (or even customizable string with placeholders/variables for different values)? That way the log would record the important info but would not get huge
Thanks!

Juanjo, is it possible to get this plugin to support Vector Displacement Maps?
LW does not support them directly so it would be great if they could be used with Octane.
It may need big changes in Octane as well so it may not be possible but one can always ask

I talking especially about ZBrush-created Vector Displacement Maps.
Thanks again!

Vector displacement is currently not supported by Octane. This is something that I can't add to the plugins if Octane doesn't support it. Perhaps we could see this feature in a future Octane release.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of, let's hope it will be supported soon, it is huge improvement to normal displacement (which of course is well enough in most cases, especially the way Octane and this plugin do it

)
Then currently my only humble request is the log level setting (see my message above 2014-11-02 11:10)
Thanks again!

Hi,
Would it be possible to add a slider to Perspective Correction? It would be great if the amount could be changed. In some cases the Perspective Correction distorts the picture too much, but maybe 50% correction would be ok...

I will collect example scenes and send later.
Yes please. If you have a example scene with this problem send it to me. I am testing the Octane lights here with my scenes and all is working fine.

Boris, do you have finally a scene with this problem to try to reproduce the crash here?

Nope, sorry ... the perspective correction is a on/off only parameter, but perhaps you could simulate the effect that you want if you use the camera shift parameter while displacing the camera in the Y axis.

I was rendering a 5k resolution interior image over night. It had took already 10 hours and I checked with Zoom option that it was sufficient for my needs. It had rendered 2900 samples out of 3500. I pressed Pause and tried to save PNG 8 and 16bit. But the image wouldn´t save. Tried multiple times. So I had to wait for the image to render the missing samples and when it was done, saving went normally.
I have had this same problem also before.
Anyone else has had this?

Can you try to save the image without enable the pause button?

I will try that next time.
