Yes, I can reproduce the problem here ... the plugin working with some resolutions (1250x700, 1253x700, 1257x700, etc.) send to LighWave a broken image. The EXR file of the multipass rendering should be ok.

I will fix this issue as soon as possible. Thanks for report it.

And you already changed the Displacement Shift control type as well in this, THANK YOU very much!

I had this from a 250x250 test render.
I put it off on the size not being a multiple of 8, as one always had to make sure of with an avi in the past. Kinda forgot that.

Looks like lw thinks it's getting a malformed avi.

Juanjgon,
Thanks for taking such good care of us. It is most appreciated.

Another weird problem :
I installed the new Beta today. I was testing the new render passes with an old scene. I started rendering normally with F9 as before. Everything looks ok in render preview window. But when the image is finished, the final image is warped. See attached. What the heck?

Builtdown wrote:Thanks! Color correction node will be very useful.

I´m testing the render passes node. I have set the node and save file, selected the passes and it seems to render properly. It saves a 46mb exr-file. But when I open it in Photoshop CS5 it only gives me one layer that is completely black. I wounder what is the problem?
I think that Photoshop has problems with this kind of files. I am testing the multilayer EXR files here with Fusion and all works fine. Is there anyone that can load the EXR files in PS without problems?

-Juanjo
PS does not natively support multi layer EXR files. but there is this proexr plugin at
http://www.fnordware.com - which does an excellent job!

EDIT: btw it would be nice to see DWA compression included! see this

The problem is fixed now. There was an alignment problem between Octane and LW frame buffers.

This is a new custom build of the beta 2 plugin for Windows x64 with the alignment problem fixed. You only need to replace the plugin .p file:

I have NOT tested this update yet but with the earlier .p only update again the 99% render problem occurred and this time Layout got stuck (nothing works but it is NOT in 'not responding' state) and only way is to kill the Layout process.

I hope you can find solution to this, other than that this plugin is excellent :)

Hey Juanjo,

I'm not sure if this is a bug with the latest CC node but when I plug in ...

Texture Image --> ColorCorrect Texture --> Environment: Texture --> Environment I lose the ability for heading and pitch rotation in the last node.
With the ColorCorrect Texture unplugged it all works again.

Sorry, I don't remember, are you using the network rendering feature?
