The viewport no longer dynamically updates with new light position when using HDR Light Studio, a refresh of the viewport is required with every light position change.
Was this expected?
I cannot reproduce this issue. Have you tried the usual reboot, reinstall, retest?

Yup... had to do that to upgrade to this version of the plug-in... however... after another reboot etc...as you have asked here... things seem to back to normal. Whew!
Thanks Paul

I think what happens is something HDR Light Studio stays in memory after you close Poser, then when you rerun Poser, the direct link does not work correctly - so rebooting fixes it. You can also open the Task Manager and close HDR Light Studio (when Poser is shut down) to achieve the same thing.

It has nothing to do with HDR Light Studio. I don't have that, but after changing my environment map HDRI the scene is black.

Are you sure nothing is blocking the HDRI? Like a skydome?
If there is a skydome, uncheck the Shadow Visibility in the skydome mesh

No skydome. My setting is to daylight, wich works fine first. After changing to textured envirinment and loading a HDRI map the Environment is allmost black.

don't understand anything at all anymore. Not black this time, it just doesn't change the HDRImage. It stays the same. Here is a phyton error message, that I don't know, what it is about:

Could it be again, that my Poser and Octane plugin is not on C-drive?

No they're not... (back to normal)...
So here's the sequence....
- Load a scene (anything)
- Render with default texture environment- Change Environment to daylight
- Right click for HDR Light Studio
- Add a light
- Move that light
- No change in the Octane Render viewport.
- Exist Poser
- Exit all other applications
- Restart Windows
- Load Poser
- Render with Firefly.
