agree BUT but it took two years and if you need a card GTX 590 imagine water cooling on the GTX 590 - it is no longer necessary - video card quickly become obsolete = number of acceleration can give water cooling system 15-20 percent = I can for this price to buy another two GTX 780 - and having a passive cooling system air accelerate its render on two cards and not

ok, now let's assume, You have open case (been this for long time.. - had no case at all..) now just imagine, what if, You have curious cat or small kids? actually my cat was a bit of a problem & need to get all the parts in a box..

now 4x cards (if You take high end) i na closed case running for extended period will get hot..probably You'll loose performance & the noise..-that will be loud, what ever card You're using..

temperatures will stay ~ 80-85 at best..- with WC You can get 40-50 under full load..pluss it's less noise as You can use low spinning fans & performance wise +30% (some users squeeze that much)

so if Your OC is 5, that nothing.. but if You loose throttling..get less noise, increase lifespan of Your PC, more stability (less headache if something fails).. then why not?

I like those mining rig like open cases..but I could not use them at home because of cat, maybe for render slave in a cellar - but custom water cooled rig..-You can use it as pillow =) I mean it's silent..

I was also very skeptical about the led fan. Good there is the magic 'off' switch :) But what I did first I unscrewed the two plastic handles - now the front panel is flat and pure alloy and still easy to open.

Sorry but I don't work at home.
Has long refused to work at home. I rent office room for this.
If the house I would necessarily put water cooling

So much work done. Only the copper rad from AC is to be mounted. Some more pics from the build log.

There were some serious issues to spin up (start) the noctua fan at low power PSU usage. Finally I decided to connect the fan to an external fan controller. Works like a charm.

PS. Many thanks to my friend Księżyc for the help with the fan.

That's awesome! =) keep photos coming, Smicha!

PSU mod is something very inspiring (already mentioned before =)

& That detachable motherboard tray gives a great way to work bit more relaxed!

always looking for some more build logs like these in the forum! (While slowly planing my own upgrades =)..
