Hi Paul,

2.10 is working fine (obviously with the same problems I've already pointed out as you haven't had a chance to fix yet)

Another one to add to the list though is adding displacement image map through the plugin window doesn't store the correct file path either, as it can't find the file when re-opening the scene. The finder window pops up asking for the correct file path but it doesn't work even when selected.

Cheers

Mike

Hi Mike - I think I found the issue (there were references to the Windows folder separator, which was bugging the OSX version). I will do more testing today, and post a fix in the next 24hrs.

I have another OSX installer - which addresses all the issues Mike listed - EXCEPT the LiveDb crash - which I believe is caused by a material name issue - so Otoy have renamed the material causing the issue.

I am using a different installer - which should now correctly install the additional scripts.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul, new installer isn't working.

Get the following error.

The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)

Couldn't open "OctaneRender_for_Poser_2_10_0_28_OSX_PoserPro2014.mpkg".

By way of explanation......

The only way to create an installer which provides the EULA under OSX is to build a mpkg (rather than a pkg). However....under the covers, an mpkg is a little like a ZIP file....it's a folder with files in it. So when I upload the installer mpkg to the Otoy FTP server, it uploads the individual folders within the mpkg, rather than the file itself. To get around this, I tried to trick OSX into thinking the mpkg was an actual file and uploaded it, but clearly that has not worked.

As a workaround, I have uploaded the mpkg as a zip file. Can you pls try this version.

Testing the 2.10 latest build and all seems to be working so far except for the Import Material - no dialog opens for a material to be selected.
