Very good idea. Any movement on the (load image) option so that an image becomes available from the drop down?

As you know, now the V2 plug can convert procedurales lightwave in octanerender (on the fly)

i must test it soon

Be aware it's not converting the procedural as such. It's using the LW procedural to create an image (the resolution of which you set), and it is applying that image in UV space. It is a superb solution, but not quite procedurals on the fly.

take in mind that a converted procedural is a simple texture. as such it has a limited size and a border which usually is not seamlessly tiling...
