Seriously, I'm still checking this thread about 100x a day. Truly looking forward to an idea.

From what I've seen, t_3 only responds positively. I do want to show a continued interest with a HINT of suspense/anticipation/(update-requesting). It doesn't appear to me that t_3 rushes -in fact if anything, this countdown has provided a way to truly focus on rewrite/rearchitecture while letting everyone know that it hasn't been dropped.
I 'pinged' because it's been awhile on this thread since there's been another note. [Just following precedent, I'm anticipating another 0.x update at some point].
For t_3, I think this is all positive [t_3 - let me know if I'm off].
Thanks again,
Jim

I think is time for a new release !

hope Daz 4.6 new beta will not break the plugin compatibility like 4.5 > 4.6 did.

i think i can give away a little in this area - at least how it worked for me...
linvanchene wrote:How close is DAZ working together with plugin developers?
there is a dev forum over @ daz... it's like a dead cold desert. i have a contact @ daz, which always answered specific questions quite fast, i just didn't want to overstress that, so it was only my last resort, when i couldn't figure something out myself even after hundreds of tries.
linvanchene wrote:Are they getting a notice about upcoming changes before they are released
there wasn't a change to the 4.5+ sdk since it got official, so there wasn't a notice. my guess is that there would be a notice in the daz dev forum if that happens - at least i hope so...

t_3, in the new daz studio beta if i change viewport style to cartoon shaded daz studio crash, can you check that with your new plugin?

tested: disabled ocds plugin, loaded something (gen 1, then gen 2), switched to cartoon - crash. for once it doesn't seem to be me
